I Still Hate Spring!

I still hate Spring! Those frogs and cows are still making too much noise. And I still don't like Turbo!

I hate spring. I really do. I hate the noise the frogs make. And I hate the noise the cows make. I hate that the flies are starting to buzz around again. And I hate Turbo. Turbo is always yelling at me and staring at me. I just want to be left alone!

Dead Opossum Walking

I caught another opossum last night. We got to go outside around 3am and there was an opossum hanging around in my area. So I grabbed it. MY human wouldn't let me bring it inside, however. She picked it up with a towel and dropped it over the fence. I figured that since I couldn't play with my new pet, I might as well go back inside to sleep.

When I checked on it this morning, it was gone.

1. I was here first! MY Human was told to baby me.

2. I don't like playing with the other dogs (and that's why they don't like me).

3. I turned the ignition off in MY Human's car once when a deer was crossing in front of us.

4. I will tear up any crate I'm put in. Even the industrial strength onces at the vet's office.

5. I like to eat a lot!!!!!

About Me

I was named after Superman's nemesis "Lex Luthor," but no one calls me Luthor. I've enjoyed seeing my name sake on the T.V. show, "Smallville."

My mother is an Akita and my father is a Siberian Husky. I've taught my Human many things. She thought I'd be as easy to train as Hans, the German Shepherd. Ha! I quoshed that notion! All it took was once off leash for her to realize the errors of her ways.

Why am I the "Houdini Dog?" 'Cause I can escape from anything! My Human tried to crate me, but I destroyed the crate in record time. I even escaped from the pen at my old Vet's office.

I know for a fact that when my Human came to take me to live with her she was told that she needed to rock me to sleep in her arms every night. She doesn't do that any more. She says it has something to do with me weighing 112 pounds. I think that's an invalid reason.

She does cuddle with me, though. I like that a lot even though I act like I don't.

I have a taste for music. Back when I was an only dog, but after my Human realized I was "uncrate-able," I'd entertain myself with her record collection. I'd pull out several albums a day for my enjoyment. All of them would be different each day except for Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours." I liked that one. But my Human made a crate for her records. I miss those good ol' days!

Later I'll write about that Turbo who lives at my house!
